國際藝術博覽會 Frieze Seoul ⽇前正式公布 2026 年參展名單。作為當代藝術領域最具代表性的國際平台，Frieze Seoul持續匯聚來⾃全球的重要畫廊、收藏家、策展⼈、美術館及藝術機構，成為觀察最前端國際當代藝術發展的重要指標。

近年來，藝術家們不斷突破既有媒介與領域的界線，讓繪畫、雕塑、⼯藝、設計等不同創作形式，在當代藝術的框架下產⽣新的對話與可能性。在這樣的趨勢下，由韓國獨⽴策展⼈Hyeyoung Cho 策劃的「Material Practice」成為本屆 Frieze Seoul 備受關注的單元之⼀。

該區聚焦當代藝術脈絡下的材料實踐，探討藝術家如何透過不同媒材與創作形式，重新思考作品、空間與觀看經驗之間的關係，透過策展⽅式，呈現當代藝術如何在媒材運⽤與創作語⾔上持續拓展新的可能性。

來⾃⾹港/台北的Admira Gallery 今年很榮幸⼊選 「Material Practice」，與亞洲、歐洲及北美的重要畫廊與藝術機構共同參與這場國際策展對話。相較於傳統藝術博覽會以作品展⽰為主的模式，Frieze Seoul的Material Practice 單元更重視畫廊如何透過策展建⽴作品之間的關

係，並提出能影響當代藝術未來發展的觀點與思考。

Admira Gallery ⻑期以亞洲當代藝術為核⼼，持續關注不同⽂化背景下的創作實踐，並觀察藝術如何跨越媒材與類型的既有分類，發展出新的表現形式與觀看⽅式。近年畫廊透過策展與藝術博覽會建⽴國際對話平台，以跨國合作計畫積極串連亞洲各地藝術家、策展⼈與⽂化機構，持續推動亞洲當代藝術在國際舞台上的交流與能⾒度。此次以畫廊⾝份⼊選 Frieze Seoul的Material Practice 單元，是畫廊持續以策展實踐參與國際當代藝術對話以來的重要⾥程碑，也象徵來⾃亞洲的當代藝術觀點正逐漸受到國際藝術界的⾼度關注。

国際的なアートフェア「Frieze Seoul」はこのたび、2026年の出展ギャラリーおよび参加プログラムを発表しました。Frieze Seoulは、世界有数のギャラリー、コレクター、キュレーター、美術館関係者、アート機関が集う、現代アート分野を代表する国際的なプラットフォームとして知られています。

近年、アーティストたちは既存のメディアやジャンルの境界を越え、絵画、彫刻、⼯芸、デザインといった多様な表現を横断しながら、新たな対話や創造の可能性を切り拓いています。そのような潮流の中、韓国のインディペンデント・キュレーターであるHyeyoung Cho⽒が企画する「Material Practice」は、本年のFrieze Seoulにおいて特に注⽬を集めるセクションの⼀つとなっています。

「Material Practice」は、現代アートにおけるマテリアルの実験に焦点を当て、アーティストたちが異なる素材や表現⼿法を通じて、作品・空間・鑑賞体験の関係性をどのように再考しているのかを探るプログラムです。キュレーションを通じて、現代アートにおける表現⾔語や素材の可能性がどのように拡張され続けているのかを提⽰します。

⾹港と台北を拠点とするAdmira Galleryは、このたび「Material Practice」への参加が決定しました。アジア、ヨーロッパ、北⽶から集う主要ギャラリーおよびアート機関とともに、国際的なキュラトリアル・ダイアローグに加わります。従来のアートフェアが作品展⽰を中⼼としてきたのに対し、「Material Practice」では、ギャラリーがキュレーションを通じて作品同⼠の関係性を構築し、現代アートの未来に対する視点や考察を提⽰することが重視されています。

Admira Galleryはこれまで⼀貫してアジア現代アートに焦点を当て、多様な⽂化背景のもとで⽣まれる創作実践に注⽬してきました。また、芸術表現が既存のカテゴリーやメディアの枠組みを超え、新たな鑑賞体験や表現形式へと発展していく過程を継続的に探求しています。近年は展覧会やアートフェア、国際共同プロジェクトを通じて、アジア各地のアーティスト、キュレーター、⽂化機関を結びつける活動を積極的に展開しています。

今回のFrieze Seoul「Material Practice」への参加は、Admira Galleryがキュラトリアルな実践を通じて国際的な現代アートの対話に取り組んできた歩みにおける重要な節⽬であると同時に、アジア発の現代アートの視点が国際的にますます注⽬を集めていることを⽰すものでもあります。

Frieze Seoul has officially announced the participating galleries and programs for its 2026edition. As one of the most influential platforms in contemporary art today, Frieze Seoul continues to bring together leading galleries, collectors, curators, museums, and cultural institutions from around the world, serving as a key indicator of developments within the global contemporary art landscape.

In recent years, artists have increasingly challenged conventional disciplinary boundaries, creating new dialogues between painting, sculpture, craft, design, and other forms of artistic practice. Within this context, “Material Practice,” curated by Korean independent curator Hyeyoung Cho, has emerged as one of the most anticipated sections of Frieze Seoul 2026.

Material Practice focuses on material-based practices within contemporary art, exploring how artists rethink the relationships between artwork, space, and viewing experience through diverse materials and creative approaches. Through a curatorial framework, the section highlights the evolving possibilities of artistic language and material experimentation in contemporary art.

Admira Gallery, based in Hong Kong and Taipei, is honored to be selected for Material Practice, joining leading galleries and cultural institutions from across Asia, Europe, and North America in an international curatorial dialogue. Unlike traditional art fair presentations that primarily focus on individual works, Material Practice emphasizes how galleries construct relationships between artworks through curatorial thinking, offering perspectives and reflections on the future development of contemporary art.

With a long-standing focus on Asian contemporary art, Admira Gallery has consistently engaged with artistic practices emerging from diverse cultural contexts.
